Away from the tourist crowds, the place was very quiet; the bed was comfy and faced the sunrise beach side of the island; Meaw, the owner, was the kindest, most attentive host you could ask for, handling everything from visa paperwork to Thai lessons, life counseling, and diet or health advice for my ailments. The ocean area is rocky, so you need shoes to swim, and there were a few ants in the bungalows.

The place sat on the quiet eastern side of Ko Chang, with lovely cottages and many birds spotted. The resort was recently taken over, the owners are working on maintenance and investment, which is a bit needed.

The room was spacious and impeccably clean, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. However, the location is very isolated – there are no shops or bars within walking distance, so you’ll need a scooter or car if you want to explore.

This guesthouse sits on the quiet side of the island, perfect for early‑to‑bed travelers who don’t drink or smoke weed; the bars, pubs, and touristy streets lie on the opposite side. The owner is extremely hospitable and does everything she can to make your stay memorable. Some guests, however, come without researching the area and then complain that the resort doesn’t sell alcohol or that the surroundings lack the typical Pattaya nightlife.
