What a beautiful place. A large room, a ginormous bed and our own private Onsen on the ground floor. Not a criticism of the place, but note that there is no restaurant and you will need to go elsewhere for food. On a Tuesday night, some were closed and the amazing one we found was cash only. Just be aware

A perfect spot, we got a private room on the second floor with a private Onsen on the first floor, we arrived by car so location mattered less, the staff were courteous, the tatami floor was traditional and the room was clean, pleasant and luxurious. The room was larger than typical Japanese rooms and the bed was bigger than a king size.

Everything was peaceful and clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful at every turn. We didn’t stay longer, but that was our decision.
