The room was nice, a bit smaller than the photo shows but still a good size. It was very clean and the bed comfortable. It was fairly quiet even though it was on a main street, and the breakfast was lovely too. It was also close to a supermarket just a few minutes down the street if you need water or snacks. Two things could be improved to make it more practical: 1) A full body mirror is needed in the room; as a woman I had to check my outfits and do my makeup on the small toilet mirror, which was poorly lit and not suitable for makeup. 2) The shower needs a shelf or something to hold the shower gels or shampoo, because they provide small bags of shower gel and there is nowhere to keep them while showering. Adding full bottles in the shower attached to the wall might be an option.

Good location. There is no reception, check‑in starts at 16:00, the breakfast is terrible, the pillows are disastrous and should be replaced, and the Wi‑Fi was not working.

There is no light – the bathroom needs electric lighting.

I enjoyed a superb pistachio croissant and coffee from the next door cafe. Totally out of control of the owner but parking is obviously limited in Como - there were several people watching cars from the park area opposite the hotel (the nearest public parking) and it did not feel particularly safe
