The location was good, but we had to leave immediately. We stayed there a weekend, from Friday to Sunday. First, the stairs in front of the hotel were not cleared of snow that weekend—about 20 cm, which was dangerous. The reception was not very friendly; the lady and the gentleman spent most of their time by a fireplace that barely warmed the room—just a few embers. It felt like we were bothering them, a bit “I don’t care,” and they were stingy about everything. Then the dining room was 13 °C and the corridors were 8 °C. Luckily our room had two electric radiators that we cranked up to keep warm after a whole day outside in the snow. The evening meals were also insufficient in quantity and quality—nothing special. There was no soap in the restaurant toilets and the smell was like litter. The bedding was poor: no bed frame, the mattress was on the bed itself. After two nights we were happy to return home. The building was over‑decorated, with decorations everywhere on walls and ceilings—too much. And there was chaos everywhere, nothing was organized. We had booked two nights, so we couldn’t go elsewhere for the second night. We took a walk to the hotel across the street to see what they offered. They charge 25 € less per night, with Wi‑Fi and TV in the room. We stayed for a drink at their bar in a warm atmosphere, and the temperature was appropriate for the weather; that hotel was full on Saturday night, while ours only had three rooms occupied. Horrible, don’t go!
