“Our stay at Tash Rabat”
I have pondered about whether to write a false review to say everything was wonderful like everybody else or state the facts. Uri and his family who run the place are really lovely and that is why I hesitated. There is no wifi ,free or not. Hot water is not available 24 hours as was advertised. Only after about 9pm in the evening and 9.30am for a short time after they start the generator. I understand this is a very isolated location but the description is of a luxury place with all "mod cons" and it is not. The staff really try to do their best with what they have got. The food is OK but not fantastic. The experience we had is not worth the price we paid an we were disappointed as we had looked forward to this part of our visit to Kyrgistan. We did not expect luxury but a minimum of comfort would have been nice. We travel many months of the year and it is rare that we have to write such a review
The location is great. Yuri is a very friendly host who speaks English well enough. The main drawback is that the camp from the same company at Son Kul is especially expensive, even though the yurts at this site have their own bathroom, unlike those at Son Kul.
The staff were very friendly and the yurts were amazing, but the price felt a little high.
“Recommended stay in yurt near Tash Rabat”
Staying in yurts near the mountains was amazing; the food was very delicious, the staff were very nice, and the yurts were warmed by a stove in the evenings. Dining together with all the other guests was fun, and the attached bathroom was comfortable.
The service was incredibly pleasant.
