“Lame”

The bathtub didn’t drain and the AC cycled on and off all night, so loud it felt like sleeping next to a train station; the bathtub could have drained, the elevator could have worked, a ramp could have let your car into the back of the building, and the AC needed to be functional.

My first room had a TV that didn’t work, so I was moved to a different room that already had a guest, and the last room had a strong mold smell.

The room was spacious, breakfast offered a great variety of food, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location was ideal—right off the freeway, close to shops and restaurants, in a safe neighborhood.

“Think twice. Even for the price”

There wasn’t much to like, maybe the location, and the breakfast was decent; I waited 10 minutes for someone to come to the lobby, even after calling and hearing the phone ring, and no one showed up for TEN minutes. After finally checking in, I drove all the way to the back of the hotel for parking because that’s where our room was. I carried all our bags up to the second floor, opened the door, and it was a single bed even though we booked two beds. I had to walk the entire way to the lobby from the back with all our stuff because it wasn’t worth loading the car again. The clerk gave us the correct room and offered two free waters for the trouble, which felt ridiculous. The parking lot had a broken-down car with personal items packed inside, covering the windshield and spilling out, nasty flip‑flops, clothes, and it looked like the car was homeless and hadn’t driven in years. I went out to my car at 9 pm to get something and there was a dumpster diver; I worried about my car getting broken into. The facilities were old and sticky.
