“Tunnel Mountain Chalet Get Away”
The location is excellent, a bit outside the main town area, not as busy as around town, which makes it very nice.

The spot is handy for the local bus stop right outside the front and for parking personal cars; having a small kitchen and lounge for downtime was great, with a fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave, cutlery and pots/pans, plus wood for the fireplace. The heating was noisy, the main entrance opened straight into one of the rooms and a small mosaic window pane let in morning light; I would have liked thicker, warmer quilts or throw blankets for the lounge, and the pillows were too soft and low for my taste.

The room was quite clean and the location was good, yet the parking was lacking and there was no vending machine in the lobby.

The place is great for staying away from downtown hustle, but the floors were dirty and could use a good mop; they took our bin of kindling away when they came to empty the garbage bins, and the pool was cold/not heated so we couldn’t use it.

The beds were good and the shower was nice, but the toaster had only a very hard stand, so the bread burned quickly and it was basically broken; the toilet upstairs didn’t drain properly, so we had to use a plunger.
