“C’est catastrophique et c’est inoubliable pour nous”

Not at all. This place isn’t suitable for French tourists, especially for us. I’ve been a customer for many years and have always been satisfied with my bookings. Unfortunately, this hotel is in a neighborhood that didn’t feel very safe to us. Our room was heavily saturated with cigarette smoke and an herb smell, probably cannabis. I left a message at reception to report the issue. A cleaning lady came to try to reduce the odors, which brought a slight improvement. However, the smell was so strong that I had to take Doliprane three times a day because of the headaches it caused. My clothes and luggage still carry that unbearable odor. Since leaving Chicago for Washington, the change has been drastic. I feel much better.

I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious rooms, which were a nice surprise. However, I was expecting more, and the room's size was about the only notable feature.

The view from my room was stunning, but that's where the positives ended. The staff was friendly, and the room itself was cool, but I was a bit disappointed by the limited cable channels.
