The staff are welcoming and accommodating. The photos don’t match reality; the hotel looks beautiful online but is completely different on site. The bathroom smells bad, the hotel isn’t ready for guests, trash never got taken out, and after asking for a clean, the wipe left strong streaks on the mirror and fixtures. Soap wasn’t provided; they told us to buy it. For three days there was no hot water because the boiler was supposedly broken, and they promised a technician tomorrow, yet on the third day they just flipped a switch and it worked. It’s unclear if this was an energy‑saving trick or just incompetence. On Sunday the staff weren’t working at all, so we had a day off.

The staff are kind, the deals are good, the food is great, and they don’t push expensive tours but instead show you how to find cheap ones. They recommend awesome spots and the place is wheelchair friendly. Some rooms need maintenance and renovation.

The host spent time with us and helped pick better options before our arrival—thanks for that. The breakfast terrace was lovely and the whole place was clean. We got there very late at night, but she still cooked for us without hesitation. The roosters (just kidding)!

The staff’s treatment is unbeatable and very attentive. They have a café with good specialty coffee and local dishes that were super tasty. The internet connection was perfect. There was no trash bin in the room, which made disposing of leftovers awkward. It was quite humid, though that was due to rainy days.
