“Nice”
The spot’s location, layout, staff, breakfast, and coffee were all solid, but the building feels old and clearly needs a refresh.
The setting is very quaint and walking around town is a breeze, but most local businesses and restaurants shut on Sundays, so you’ll need to plan your own activities.
“We'll go back there again next summer.”
The inn exudes an old‑world comfort.
“My husband and I have never stayed at a historical inn. What a treat. We will do it again!”
The inn sits 15 minutes south of our family campsite, and the free breakfast outshines the usual fare; the dining room matched the inn’s charm. However, the view from my room faced the parking lot, while the end of the hallway offered a nicer outlook, and the mattress felt a bit firm.
The hotel is a lovely grand old building, but the food at the restaurant did not match the rest of the experience.
