The place was beautifully presented and extremely comfortable. I didn’t find anything I didn’t like about the property.

The hosts were friendly and welcoming, and it’s nice to have people as the point of contact. My room was very clean and comfortable, and the shower was excellent. The cooked full‑English breakfast was delicious and filling, giving me a great start to the day. I had a wonderful stay at The Old Lodge Guest House and would highly recommend it; I’ll definitely return next time I’m in Lincoln. The dining room also offers lovely views.

The location is very pretty, with Commonwealth Park right next to it. The staff were relaxed, friendly, and helpful, and the breakfast was great. The room was cozy, with a good, big bed. It was a little far from the centre for my purposes, as there are no electro‑scooters or other easily rentable means of transport in the city. There was a bus, though, and for someone who prefers walking, that’s not an issue at all.
