“Nikdy viac”
I was kicked out by the owner because we were lying on a futon, so we never stayed even one night – we cancelled right after arriving.
“Good location, but can be really loud coz of poor isolation”
Nice, central spot. The owners are super friendly and sweet, but the isolation is awful – you can hear everything.
Very well located, the hosts can rent a scooter directly for you and it’s cheap, the room is clean and spacious! The breakfast is very simple – a scrambled or omelette egg with one slice of white bread and tea or coffee.
The hotel was fine overall, with a good pool, room, and outdoor area, but the breakfast left a bit to be desired because there were no fruits, just an egg, a slice of white bread, coffee or tea.
“A peaceful stay with outstanding staff and great value”
I’ve been back a few times now because the place is great value, and the staff are among the best I’ve met on my travels – they’re incredibly friendly, helpful, and always make you feel welcome. With only a handful of rooms, the property stays quiet and feels more personal than larger hotels. The rooms are a good size, with reliable air conditioning and hot water. The rooftop pool is a great spot to relax, and the rooftop seating area is perfect for watching the sunset. The location has also improved a lot, with more restaurants nearby than during my earlier visits, a great massage shop, and a supermarket only about five minutes away by scooter. Scooter hire is available at the property, and it’s only around 25 minutes from Uluwatu. The area is developing quickly, which has both positives and negatives. There is now construction around the property, including a house being built next door. The noise wasn’t too bad during my stay, but the peaceful open surroundings are gradually disappearing. The complimentary breakfast has also gone downhill compared to previous visits; it used to be much more substantial, but this time it was just two pieces of toast, scrambled eggs and a black coffee, which was a little disappointing.
