Being very close to the metro and train stations was a highlight, but there was some early‑morning repair or construction happening.

The spot was spot-on, right next to all the big shops, Circular Quay, Hyde Park, and other key sights, and within walking distance of the metro, trains, and light rail; the rooms were small but cozy, though the bathroom step felt steep and the floor was a bit slick—just lay a bath mat down before showering to avoid slipping.

I loved the location, the bed, and the charming old building, but the bathroom felt too cramped, the windows wouldn't open, and the price didn't match the room size.

Everything was comfortable and within reach, and even though we stayed in the smallest room, it was more than enough; nothing unusual bothered me.

Lovely traditional furnishings and hospitable welcome from the staff. The windows have poor sound protection and there was noisy road works from 8 pm to the early hours of the morning
