“A real gem of a hotel”
We spent two nights this month at this historic hotel and it was a delight. The lobby, breakfast area and corridors look stunning, and the room itself is roomy with a bathroom that feels unique and retro. A few pieces of furniture have minor flaws, but that only adds to the authentic vibe, and everything was spotless. The self‑check‑in worked flawlessly after we filled out the online form, so we could head straight to the room. Breakfast and the spa were included and, while ordinary, they served their purpose well. The location is unbeatable, and the views from our room are breathtaking. I highly recommend this place and look forward to returning to Bad Gastein.
