The surrounding nature was beautiful, but our room was unclean and the headboard was dirty.

The outdoors, the restaurant, and the pool were all beautiful. However, the self‑catering apartment had no stove, tea/coffee, cutlery, or plates. We booked for ten people and one room was supposed to sleep three, but all rooms were the same size and the bed accommodated only two. The shower had no door, so water spilled into the bedroom. We asked for a braai stand, but they said they didn’t have one; instead, a braai stand behind the rooms was available for a R300 fee from the restaurant.

The rooms were not cleaned, there were no toiletries, and the bathrooms were dirty with broken toilet seats.
