The hotel itself is gorgeous, especially the room that opens onto a lovely garden view. The whole family got great service – the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was top‑notch and the surprise dinner was a real treat. The only hiccup was the whirl‑pool that turned out to be broken; we only found out after we’d already planned to use it. Also, the shower gel wasn’t refilled automatically, which was a bit annoying.

Breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of fresh dishes to choose from multiple times. Don’t miss the surprise menu on the terrace – it’s a must‑try. The evening view over the Schoss Gottweig was stunning. On the downside, there was no Wi‑Fi and parking was a bit of a hassle, but the owners stepped in to help.
