The staff seemed helpful, but the facilities were outdated, and the fittings did not match the room type we were supposed to receive; we had to be reminded of everything.

The general manager was polite and helpful, and a few other staff members were useful. However, the facilities were poor with almost no water pressure in the showers. We were told we’d booked a large suite with a living room, bedroom, and bathroom, but only after we mentioned it did they change our room. Out of the 9 days we stayed, only 5 days were in a larger room. We had to remind them to clean daily, and once the staff left our door unlocked, putting my laptop at risk. They moved us rooms so often that we couldn’t relax.

The general manager and one front desk staff. They only gave us the room we paid for, for 3 days out of the 9 nights we stayed. We had to remind them that despite us paying for a suite, they only updated our room for 5 days as opposed to the full 9 days. Poor water pressure in ground floor rooms. I also fell ill for a couple of days and they wouldn’t let us order the specific food I needed from outside

The hotel is a well‑maintained historic building, and the staff are extremely attentive to every request, doing their best to satisfy guests. The restaurant is great, genuinely trying to adapt to Western tastes and prepare food that pleases us at breakfast and dinner. The room was huge, impeccably clean, and came with tasty snacks as a welcome. It is a bit far from the city center, so that’s something to keep in mind.
