The reception was warm, the view from the breakfast cube was magnificent, horses were present, and the place was quiet. We couldn’t use the facilities because of our schedule, but the small lake and canoes were very tempting. A few minor maintenance or renovation tasks would help: the skylight in our cube was dusty and opaque, the door was uneven and hard to seal at night, the wardrobe was unusable, and there were only a couple of hooks for towels or clothes. A fresh coat of paint on the north side of the wagons would also be nice; otherwise, the cabins were lovely.

We loved the relaxing vibe of the spot, but the stay felt too short to enjoy it even more.

The staff were friendly and professional, the surroundings were pleasant, and the on‑site facilities were solid.

The setting, the horses, the pool, and the lake were all great. The accommodation itself was disastrous: the square house was tiny, it was unbearably hot in August—like a furnace—so we could only stay inside after midnight or 1 a.m. Opening the door for ventilation brought mosquitoes, flies, and other bugs inside. The cabins were poorly maintained; doors didn’t lock and no keys were provided, and there was no mosquito netting. The wardrobes were full of cobwebs. The bathroom was tiny; sitting on the toilet made my face touch the door, and I couldn’t get up without opening it. In bed we found a lizard waiting for us. The kitchenware was basic—just a few flat plates and utensils that didn’t allow proper cooking. There was no trash bin anywhere on the property, so we had to keep the bin in the cabin or drive out to drop it off. On the last day I had to take the bin to a village a few kilometres away because the container at the exit was missing. I saw other guests hauling full bins with ants in their cars looking for a bin, which felt disrespectful to guests. The manager was cold and superficial. The property is supposed to be a tranquil haven in nature, which is why I booked for two nights. A few days before arrival I received a message that a party would be held; the manager presented us with the situation and apologized for the noise inconvenience.
