Fairhaven, Oban Town Centre

“Lovely central apartments.”

The rooms were lovely and had off‑street parking. The town was nearby, with plenty of shops (Tesco, Aldi), pubs, and restaurants; the George Street Fish Shop was beautiful. Breakfast was DIY with a wide selection and plenty to choose from. We did message the property while we were there because we needed to put some insulin in the fridge, but we didn’t receive a response and there was no one at the property to talk to. We ended up buying ice and putting it in the sink.

Communication and entry instructions were good. The room and bed were comfortable. Breakfast was well set up with everything you need. The location worked really well for us, and on‑site parking was also available.

“Would not recommend”

The shower was good, but no soap or shampoo was provided like every other B & B, and there was no Kleenex. Wifi did not work; we contacted Fairhaven, which advertises 24/7 response, but received nothing. No wifi, no contact. Other guests were very noisy and loud; the walls were paper thin. No soap, no shampoo, no Kleenex.

“Lovely room and bathroom . Great facilities! Great location . Parking space available. Spacious and inviting”

Cozy , clean and comfortable. Pretty warm room … Radiator turned off but still little heat coming from it . Had window open all time which helped but still a bit warm. The only slight negative thing we came across
