The hotel sits in a great spot—just a stone’s throw from Times Square and Central Park, with Fifth Avenue a five‑minute walk away and the subway right around the corner. It feels more like a base than a place to spend time in the room, which is fine for a quick sleep, though the bathroom looks tired and could use a serious facelift. Apart from that, I’d definitely book again on a future trip.

The overall décor of the hotel, both exterior and interior, was good.

The location was fine, but the staff attitude, especially the manager, was extremely rude. When I asked for a fridge in the room to store my diabetic medication, he said they don’t provide a fridge, and even after I explained it was an emergency and that I had stayed here before, he didn’t care and hung up on me. I have never seen a manager as rude as him; I ended up moving to the Sheraton across the street and finally got a fridge in minutes.

The location was great in mid‑town NY, but after a 12‑hour trip with my 81‑year‑old mother we were told our shared premium room had been reassigned to pilots, so we had to take two single rooms on different floors and were told to return at 2 pm the next day with no apology or refund; the manager’s attitude was terrible, customer service was awful, we lost a day of our holiday, the room we received was dirty, the air‑con leaked all over the carpet.
