We were upgraded to a suite in the neighbouring hotel, which offered stunning panoramic views of the countryside and Kumbalghargh Fort, with great included breakfast and dinner; Shell, the manager, arranged a safari on the first day the wildlife reserve reopened after the monsoon—huge thanks to him. Wi‑Fi worked, hot water was plentiful, the bed was very comfortable, and the large balcony was just amazing; we would definitely return. The pool was cold despite the brilliant weather, a constant issue at 1100 meters elevation—perhaps solar panels could heat it. If you opt for the official two‑hour safari, be prepared for extremely bumpy jungle roads, though it was an exciting ride.

The property is nice and the location is great if you want to be alone in a forested area, but the staff weren’t very friendly; we were the only guests and still didn’t feel welcomed, seemed like a burden to the staff, and our request to extend check‑out wasn’t honored. The staff kept pestering us to remove luggage at 11:00 am, and there were no female staff at all.

Meals were very good, personalized service and attentiveness from Dhool Singh ji and they were tasty. Nice pool and pool view from the room. Good size rooms. Need better bed mattresses and the hot water situation needs some prior information - waiting for 1.5-2 buckets of cold water before the hot water comes in taps is a waste of water and too long a wait. Think the property has the ability to fix the issue.

Stunning views of Aravalis from the room, spacious room to accommodate 3, large bath, overall clean. Property surroundings are well maintained and its very relaxing. Food and service was average in comparison to Rajasthan hospitality. The front office manager was very rude when asked why bath linen was not placed. His attitude was more like he was doing a favor by accommodating us
