It’s a beautiful spot steeped in history, the room was comfortable and lovely, and the cat that greeted us at reception was super cute. A place that cares for animals is exactly my type of accommodation—loved it! 10 stars.

I loved the location, surrounded by ruins of the past—it felt amazing. Nizwa fort was about 30 minutes away, and we had no regrets staying away from the fort. The café is lovely, the rooms are cozy and very comfortable, and the décor is aesthetic yet simple.

The ancient village, renovated property, and amazing café inside made for a perfect stay.

The hostel was beautifully and stylishly restored without losing its charm, and the surroundings give a sense of how it might have looked in the past. The rooms are homely with loving details. The café and two‑level roof terrace invite you to relax. The owners and staff take great care of guests, helping with tour bookings and ordering delivered dinner. Thanks for a few wonderful days! One potential issue is parking during peak season; we were lucky that due to the Iran crisis fewer tourists were in Oman and we could park in front of the neighboring school.
