Perfect location with direct links to the airport and the fair, and a quick walk into the old town. The furnishings are not brand‑new—apart from the bathroom—but everything is very clean. Our park‑view room was totally quiet, breakfast was good, and supplies were regularly restocked.
The breakfast was unfortunately very simple.
“Ruhig, zentral, diverse Ausstattungsdefizite”
The hotel benefits from a quiet, central spot near the Rhine. The breakfast looks appealing. Usually I book the neighboring Indigo, but I tried this one because it was cheaper. The place lacks air‑conditioning, though I knew that beforehand. Even with mild outside temperatures I could only sleep with the window open. The room décor feels very old‑fashioned, with reddish wooden furniture and a faded carpet. A 32‑inch TV is still there, not fitting a 4‑star standard. Behind the furniture door in the room a hole opens instead of a fridge. The mini‑safe doesn’t fit a laptop, my iPad didn’t fit either. In the breakfast area there were two coffee machines meant for private use, not for a hotel. Both 4‑star hotels differ hugely in quality from the Indigo. It’s a shame; with investment in AC and room updates it could be better.
The location was great. The staff were very friendly. The air conditioning was missing, so it was noisy in the mornings.
A spacious, clean room. Everything was well maintained. The beds were sturdy and comfortable. The bathroom was very tidy.
