The room standard was good, the restaurant was still open, and the hotel is a bit outside the city where shops are scarce, so that location worked for us as we headed toward Florence. Breakfast met our expectations and the staff were friendly. It’s unusual that we have to pay for storing bicycles.

A single night in Florence was ideal, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was generous and delicious. The furnishings were outdated, the wooden floor and door could use a refresh, and the air‑conditioning was so loud I had to turn it off, but by late September it became bearable.

Breakfast was fine. The place wasn’t very clean and the location was poor; no taxis came and there were no nice restaurants around.

The room and bathroom were clean, and the staff were very helpful. No transport was nearby; when we asked for a taxi they said it couldn’t come to pick us up.
