The setting on the hill, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, is gorgeous, offering silence and calm. The hosts were very kind and helpful; when my husband fell ill, they lent us a thermometer and suggested medication. Everything else was fine, though a small note: installing air‑conditioning in future renovations would be fantastic, as it was hard to cool the rooms on hot nights.
