Breakfast was lovely, the staff were very helpful and friendly, the location was great, and the room was very comfortable and quiet. I didn’t like the Velux windows in our room, but we had been told about them when booking, and I thought a couple of bottles of water on the tea tray would have been a nice addition.

The staff were pleasant and helpful, and the facilities were lovely and clean. We had a last‑minute trip, so being closer to our destination would have been better—trying to get a taxi was hard work or impossible. If we had been there to play golf like many others, it would have been perfect.

The room’s facilities were lovely, spotless, the staff were very welcoming, and breakfast was fabulous. We only realized upon arrival that a “standard” room had just two Velux windows in the ceiling, which made the space feel quite claustrophobic.
