We couldn’t check in because the hotel was closed, so I’m still waiting for a refund. This is a major issue for booking.

“Excellent property and service, location was outside of Borsa not in center like shown on map”

The owners were excellent, super friendly and helpful, even going above and beyond; the room itself was tidy and comfortable. I only stayed one night, but there was also an outdoor cooking area and parking available. A key point is that the map on Booking shows a wrong spot – the real guesthouse sits about 4 km west of Borsa, in the village of Moisei. That mistake was on Booking’s side, not the property, and the owners stepped in with great assistance.

“Sehr gut für einen Zwischenstopp von Maramures in die Bukovina”

The host was super friendly and welcoming, and the place was spotless with a well-equipped kitchen and plenty of space in the common areas. It's a great setup, but I did notice that the rooms were a bit on the smaller side.

Our host was incredibly kind and accommodating - she even let us fire up the grill! The location was fantastic, and we were really happy with our stay. The only thing that would've made it perfect was a bit more peace and quiet.
