The hotel’s location is perfect for a day trip to Venice. The staff are especially friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but very clean and well maintained, fine for a short stay. The on‑site restaurant cooks wonderfully – highly recommended. The price is typical for Venice and a bit high.

The spot in Dorsoduro is ideal. The building looks nice, and the staff are very kind and efficient. The reception and lounge décor are beautiful. The room is large, clean, with good blackout shutters and a comfortable bed. The restaurant is good and the breakfast is excellent. The “bed linen service” is great for fans. The bathtub is poorly arranged and not very handy. The mini‑fridge sits next to the bed (in the nightstand drawer), so it’s a bit noisy close to the head. A 26€ tip was added automatically to the bill for “all staff” (the front desk said it wasn’t mandatory and that I could remove it, but I didn’t dare, feeling a bit obliged to accept it anyway). The room rate was already high, so the extra fee felt a bit “cavalier”.
