“Excellent family-run with really friendly staff”
I had an amazing stay at this lovely, family‑run hotel for a few days in March. I was travelling from Tbilisi and got stuck getting there because the Goderdzi pass was closed over the winter. I didn’t realise that the resort was not accessible by car from the east! The hotel owner was incredibly helpful. He came to pick me up in a snowmobile. It was a really fun ride to get to the hotel. I stayed a few days, went skiing – there was so much snow! Ski hire was really easy in the hotel. The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful, especially Dito the barman who came skiing with me one day. The room was really large and comfy. The restaurant and breakfast were good. I got back to my car via a snowplough which the hotel arranged for me. The only downside was that it was hard to get to, and hard to get back!

Very friendly staff, great location right by the lift, and a truly delicious breakfast.
The scenery was beautiful, the restaurant tasty, and the bright rooms had lovely views. The lift was a 3‑5 minute walk away. The room wasn’t very clean; when we arrived, there were strangers’ hair on the floor and in the wardrobe drawers, which was unpleasant. The shower in the bathroom leaked, leaving the floor wet all the time. On the last day, water started leaking into the toilet. It feels like the maintenance of the plumbing isn’t well monitored. The sound insulation was very weak: conversations, children’s screams, and laughter from the corridor were heard in the room as if people were inside it. It wasn’t very noisy at night, but if you want to lie down and rest during the day, it’s unlikely to be possible.

We were the only guests in the hotel because it was the end of the season. They prepared a very tasty breakfast for us. The people were very attentive and kind. Unfortunately, a small incident happened while we were descending the ski slope, and we want to express our great gratitude to the hotel administration and staff for their help and support. Thank you for the warm welcome and comfortable stay!

The plumbing was in terrible condition: the shower leaked, the toilet drain was sluggish, the tap broke, and in one bedroom a water hose made a horrible noise all night. The breakfast was very mediocre, and children often had nothing to eat. The beds were awful – mattresses on a hard surface with no foam layers.
