The staff were friendly, but the place was filthy, smelled bad, and there was no elevator, something we weren't told about.

The location is great. The main advantage is Podil, everything nearby, the “Kontraktova Square” metro just a 10‑minute walk. Price/quality ratio. For Kyiv the price is very pleasant, a good budget option for a few nights. The staff and communication were polite, they called before check‑in to confirm arrival time. Self‑check‑in was clear, the bed and towels were clean. Amenities were provided on request. The room had a kettle. The internet was stable. The sound insulation was poor; the walls are thin so you hear everything happening in the corridor and neighboring rooms. The interior and furniture feel a bit dated; a fresh cosmetic renovation and thicker blankets for the cold season would be nice. There is no full kitchen.

Everything was fine; they helped us carry and unload our luggage, for which I’m especially grateful!

I didn’t stay there, but thanks for the free cancellation.

The location was good, close to cafés and a shelter, and our room was on the top floor with a no‑smoking rule. The check‑in conversation felt like talking to a child, they wouldn’t let us ask questions and switched to Russian. The floor lacked soundproofing, the room was dirty—under the bed we found socks from previous guests. Windows couldn’t be closed because there were no handles. The entrance was scary and smelled of cigarette smoke; I wanted to leave as quickly as possible.
