The hotel is clearly visible from the train station and you have to use a tunnel to cross the street. It looks old and shabby, but the room is clean. The bed is a thick, non‑Japanese futon that lies flat on the floor and is very comfortable. The sea view room has a full‑length window; the view is ordinary when the tide is low, but in the morning when the tide comes in the torii looks more striking. The heater is easy to adjust. There are two fast elevators, so you don’t wait long. The onsen works, but the outdoor onsen is a single‑basin tub that you have to turn the tap yourself for a cold bath. The hotel’s location is very convenient because it’s right by the sea and you can walk around. On the day I went, the wind was strong and I couldn’t walk, but there is a family‑mart close by, and being near the train station makes travel super easy—just two stops to get to Hamamatsu for lunch.

The view was nice, and we ended up eating too much eel for dinner, but we were satisfied with the variety. Parking was paid.

The red torii of Bentenjima is right nearby. The whole facility feels a bit old.
