The hotel is situated in the old town, within walking distance of Piazza, the cable car, the promenade, and other attractions—this is the biggest plus of the place. The biggest disappointment is the lack of hot water in the rooms; hot water is only available early in the morning, and if you wake up a bit later the tap only supplies cold water. Second, the hair dryer in the bathroom didn’t work. Third, the breakfasts are always cold—whether you arrive at any time, the food is cold. The selection is limited to cold sausages or hot dogs, cold scrambled eggs or boiled eggs, fruit, and stale bread; there are no pastries or rolls. Why is this hotel considered a 4‑star property?

The staff were pleasant, the place was clean, and the location was convenient. The only downside was the small café hall; during breakfast I had to wait 15 minutes for a table to free up.
