“A perfect hotel to explore beautiful Dinkelsbuhl”

A beautiful hotel in the centre of Dinkelsbühl. Our room was spacious, clean and modern and it was a short walk to the main hotel for a delicious breakfast. We pre booked parking and loved not having to drive for a couple of days, and enjoyed exploring the beautiful town, ramparts and restaurants with our dogs. We’d definitely stay again. The hallways were a bit echoey so bedroom doors/the front door slamming and voices were quite loud

“Perfekt gewohnt mitten in einem Mittelalterstädtchen”

Our room was on the top floor, offering windows on three sides for a great view of Dinkelsbühl’s old town. The hotel itself was completely quiet, and the room was nicely furnished, making even bad weather tolerable. We headed to the main house for breakfast; the walk was worth it. The spread was generous, and since we’re not early risers we could pick a table without hassle. During the group breakfast rush you’ll have to take the next available spot. The buffet was replenished quickly, so no complaints. It’s wise to book a parking spot ahead; otherwise you’ll have to park outside the city walls, but the old town is still easily walkable.

- Lage in der historischen Innenstadt - Gutes Frühstück, wenn auch in anderem Gebäude (durch Bauarbeiten Umleitung, sonst 200m entfernt). - sehr weiche Betten - Mails zur Anreisezeit 1 Tag vorher wurden nicht beantwortet - Zimmer interessant, aber nicht gemütlich eingerichtet - Nachttischlampen fehlen

“Wir hatten ein Super-Wochenende, jeder hat sich wohlgefühlt (13 Personen) ......... gern wieder”

The breakfast buffet was plentiful and tasty. Rooms were attractive and the beds very comfortable; we also enjoyed the tea station in our room. The location is central and within walking distance of the sights, all easily reachable on foot. The night‑watch tour was brilliant, and the walk around the old town and city wall was varied. Around the breakfast buffet at Hetzlhof Hotel everything felt cramped, causing a lot of crowding and little room to maneuver. In our bathroom the open shower was of normal size but lacked a door, positioned right in the middle of the room, so after showering you couldn’t go to the toilet with dry feet. Only after drying or wearing shoes could you use the wet bathroom. In the other six rooms the shower opened to the side and the cabin was longer, so that issue didn’t arise.

“Wir werden dieses Hotel nicht mehr besuchen”

The breakfast was very good, and the room was functional. However, the various hotels in the area are a bit of an adjustment, and the parking situation is disastrous even with a reserved spot.
