The location was solid and the manager handled every message almost instantly, which I appreciated a lot. I ran into a few snags: the cooker was broken, so after buying groceries I had to eat out because I couldn’t cook. I also found insects in the kitchen cupboards; I hope the pest control has been fixed since then. The building’s courtyard could use better upkeep. Aside from those hiccups, the stay was mostly positive and the manager’s quick communication really stood out.

The facilities and bed are so old! Everything else was terrible.

The price was good and the location works well. The place is very basic and there’s no signage outside or on the door, so it’s hard to find at night because it’s just a terraced house with no indication that it’s a guesthouse.

WhatsApp support was fast and efficient, the location is close to the metro, but I’m not sure it’s worth it because of the lack of security and poor upkeep. Women, beware: you can’t lock the room door from inside because the handle is touch (no key or latch). I think I spotted two hidden cameras in the smoke detector of the room (I tested it with my phone’s light and saw a camera‑like screen reflecting inside the detectors – see attached photo). On top of those security concerns, my room looked nothing like the photo: the bedding had stains and smelled bad, the room was dirty, poorly maintained with holes, stains, and grime on the walls, curtains, and floor. I stayed only one night.
