The cabins and restaurant were surrounded by nature and wildlife, and the Japanese‑inspired dinner was nice, but the resort was far from the main road and even further from Freycinet.

The location, room layout, and proximity to restaurants were perfect, but the driveway to the resort needs potholes filled.

The location was lovely and the staff were very friendly.

Everything was amazing: the secluded, mountain‑top setting with cabins that offered uninterrupted forest and ocean views, the privacy and silence of the surrounding nature, and even four kangaroos grazing right outside our terrace. The staff, including hostess Lucille and the kitchen chefs, were very friendly, and the Japanese restaurant’s cuisine was extraordinary—best salmon I've had, with an extensive sake list, and breakfast was delicious. The only issue was the last 4 km of the gravel road, which has deep potholes; a normal car should drive cautiously, while an SUV 4×4 would be fine.
