The room was spotless and the bed was great. The fridge and spacious dressing area were handy, and the hotel sits close to Haad Rin beach and local shops. The bar offers a nice view of the beach. A mattress on the terrace lounge chair would have been a welcome addition, but it’s just a minor detail.

The hotel is simply great and the location is excellent. When I read other reviews I imagined the hotel high up on a mountain, but in reality it’s right on the beach; you only need to walk up to the residential houses, which isn’t far. The relaxation zones (hanging nets, bean‑bag chairs, sun loungers and tables) open straight onto the beach and the view is amazing. The room had everything you need: nice beds, towels, a kettle (tea, coffee, water available), cups, mugs, air‑conditioning, and a fridge. The water heater is flow‑type but more than sufficient (we had a tree growing in the bathroom, which was very cool). We didn’t have a TV, but we didn’t need one. The only missing item was more shelves or hooks for clothes; there’s just a small shelf over the kettle. Earlier reviews mentioned that the café food was not great, but the food here is excellent—give it a try and you won’t regret it! I can’t comment on the coffee because we didn’t order it, but the food and non‑alcoholic juices/refreshments are superb. Monkeys came in the morning but were not aggressive. Watching them from the glass was great; we tried not to interact directly. The staff are traditionally very friendly for Thailand. I definitely recommend this place!
