The staff were unwilling, the television was out of order, the location was outside the declared hotel in a so‑called corner with the justification that I had no other place, no valid proof of cash payment was presented, and the restaurant could not operate at 20:00.

The lady took care of us, was kind and polite, breakfast was like any good Swedish buffet, dinner was good. We received a different room than booked, no sauna or jacuzzi, and the hotel was so small that it felt pointless to offer those facilities.

The location is beautiful, and both Mrs. Viktorie and the cook were absolutely amazing. The room was clean, the equipment sufficient, and the food was great; you can eat at the hotel or in the restaurant. We definitely want to come back again.

The only good thing was the quiet. I was hugely disappointed; I don’t understand the high ratings for this place, because it’s basically not a hotel. The bed is unbelievably squeaky—any slightest movement or turning wakes your partner and kids, so you’re up about 20 times a night and feel like the bed might collapse. The bedding already had a lot of memory, and the pillow is more like metal shards than a pillow. We woke up exhausted and broken, which is great if you’re planning a long hike. In the bathroom there were big spiders, and the kids refused to shower. I’ll never stay here again and recommend reading all reviews, not just the ones on Booking. I’ve never given any accommodation such a low rating before, but this place simply can’t be tolerated. I’m sorry.

The staff were willing and friendly, and the hotel’s location is good. The room we had might have been fine for a family with kids, but it had a lot of clutter that was hard to navigate even down to the lower level. At night, when you go to the bathroom from that lower bed two or three times, you wake your partner and hit your head on the upper bed several times. The room would be suitable for two normal beds or one double bed, not for four beds.
