The hotel sits right next to the train station, in a pretty spot by the canal with plenty of shops nearby. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, but we had booked a canal‑view room and ended up in a different building instead. The shower was hard‑to‑move and not detachable, and there was no smart TV.

The bed is comfortable and there is a fully fitted kitchen if you need it; you can also park outside. The stairs are very steep with no handrail, so you’re stuck in the bedroom and there’s no kettle in the bedroom.

The location is convenient, but it would help to have information on the front door that it is self‑check‑in. There is an odd smell in the bathroom, and as the website says, the larger front rooms are noisier in the morning if the window is open.
