Breakfast was very good, offering everything one could wish for, and the accommodation and wellness area were overall very good. The location was a bit inconvenient, with a walk to the center of Oberstaufen taking about 20‑25 minutes, and the local restaurants in town were quite pricey.

A beautiful, quiet spot right across from the Golfzentrum Oberstaufen, about 2 km outside Oberstaufen. The large wellness area includes saunas, an indoor pool, massages, and more. The hotel gives guests access to PLUS Golf via the guest card, offering free green fees at selected courses. The entire staff is attentive and very helpful.

Excellent. Good service. Pleasant. The facilities are in perfect condition. It is not possible to pay in CHF.

The friendliness throughout the hotel deserves special mention. Breakfast was beautifully presented, especially the overnight‑muesli which was delicious. The box‑spring beds had a balanced firmness, letting us sleep perfectly. The Comfort‑room layout is very practical, and the family‑run owners deserve high praise. The wellness area, with an indoor pool, relaxation room, reclining loungers, sauna, infrared cabin, and quiet spots, is all well equipped. We didn’t use the beauty or physio services because our stay was too short, but we’ll return for a Schroth course here since it’s not a mass‑tourist operation like the larger hotels nearby. Everything comes at a price, but as a package it’s worth it. Unfortunately, the view from the balcony toward the Allgäu Alps was somewhat limited or obscured by a large crane on a nearby hotel annex. That crane will likely be removed in a few weeks, so it’s not a permanent issue, which is a shame. Some of the balcony lounge chair covers were torn and should be repaired soon.
