Merzouga Camping Sahara

I had the most incredible experience in Morocco, and this campsite was the highlight of my trip. I ended up staying for four nights, and it was absolutely fantastic. The campsite is nestled between golden sand dunes, perfect for hiking, relaxing, or trying out other desert adventures. At night, you can literally sleep under the stars. Gambi, the host, is a total gem - he took care of me from the moment I arrived by bus to when I left, and he's super reliable and friendly.

The hotel's attention to detail and organization really stood out to me. From check-in to check-out, everything ran smoothly and on schedule, which gave me a sense of confidence and security. The transfers were seamless, and the activities were well-planned, which made the whole experience feel very well-structured. However, the rooms were a bit on the small side, but they were spotless and clean, which made up for it.

This place is a real gem. From the moment we were picked up from Merzouga by a friendly driver, we knew we were in for a treat. The camp itself is run by Mimoun, who's got a warm and welcoming smile that sets the tone for the whole experience. We spent the night around the fire with the rest of the camp, where Mimoun and the boys got us all drumming and singing along to traditional songs.
