“Good value for money and warm in winter.”

The place offered excellent value for money; the facilities were simple yet tidy, and the bathroom was spotless. We had several heating options in the room but didn’t use any because we didn’t feel cold at night—Queenslanders in New Zealand in October, so that’s cold for us! Parking right in front of our room made moving luggage a breeze, and a local 4 Square shop was just a 2‑minute walk away, which was super convenient. This was a perfect short‑term option for our family of two adults and two young kids, and we’d stay here again. The only downside was that the kitchen dishes weren’t 100 % clean, but that didn’t break the stay.

The spot is in a great location and close to shops, and the staff were very friendly. The room was very small and dated, there was no hairdryer, no way to heat food, and every outside noise was audible inside.

“Adequate”

The hotel is close to town, the beds are comfortable, and there’s a good amount of space. However, it feels dated and tired compared to other places at this price. The toaster burns toast, the bathroom door can’t be shut, and the shower doesn’t drain.

“Basic but good location”

The location was great, right next to shops. The bed was hard, the TV was very old, and the rooms were basic and in need of a refresh. The walls were so thin that we could hear everything.

“A great place for an overnight stop - comfortable and roomy.”

The room was huge and located right in the village centre. The bathroom was tiny compared to the room size, but it was still adequate.
