We’re an elderly couple in our eighties visiting our favorite city for a week, maybe the last time. After over 50 years of staying in hotels and B&Bs, we both agreed that the friendliness, responsiveness, and support we received here were the best we’ve ever had. Thank you, Massimo, for making our lovely trip even more special; you were always there and delivered when we needed something without being overbearing. The location is on a quiet street near the Duomo and the Statue of David, and all the city’s major attractions are within easy walking distance. Breakfast was at a restaurant a short walk away on quiet streets; we were relieved to find it as described, despite some earlier reviews. We considered it more a feast than a breakfast, and Massimo paid the bill. Two very friendly young waiters greeted us with great smiles every morning. One had been to the UK many times and called my wife “darling” because he had been served by an older British waitress who did the same; he did it so nicely and sincerely that we didn’t have the heart to tell him it rarely happens anymore. We highly recommend this B&B to everyone; it’s a gem, and we wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else in Florence. No dislikes at all—we couldn’t think of one to put in the square. We’re slack photographers, so no photos, but the photo above is exactly what we saw, local and full of character.

De vriendelijke en behulpzame Massimo, heel goed bed, lekkere koffie op de kamer en er was water en zelfs een fles wijn. De kamer was proper en er was ook airco, zeker een adresje om terug te komen. Eigenlijk niks

I landed in a great spot with plenty of room, and Massimo was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

The host greeted me warmly and was ready to offer guidance whenever I needed it; a bottle of wine was a delightful surprise, and the room was spotless, spacious, and cooled nicely. Breakfast was tasty, though it required a short walk, and the staff were friendly; parking tips were also appreciated. The place is very central, but the stairs make it tough for anyone who struggles with them.
