“Good overall”
Breakfast fell short of expectations and that wasn’t clarified during booking; there were fewer options than just toast and cereal.

The bathroom had been recently renovated, yet the exhaust fan was covered in dust; the continental breakfast was overpriced for what you get, and we would have liked a microwave in the room.

The manager kindly upgraded us to a king room, the spot was spot‑on, the bed felt super comfy, and everything stayed spotless; we did wish there were mugs instead of cups for tea in the room, but that’s a common issue across Australia.

The hotel is surprisingly large with secure underground parking; we arrived early in the season when the place had just opened and there were few guests, the room was quite roomy and the staff were friendly; breakfast offered tea/coffee, cereal, toast and fruit juices for $10; however, as I mentioned, it was early in the season and just past winter, yet the hotel felt cold even in the common areas.

The location is very central, a short walk to the main town centre and the Three Sisters, and there was nothing negative.
