“Paradijs”

I met a very helpful and friendly host at an extraordinarily beautiful spot, though the drive into the middle of nowhere takes longer than expected, it’s well worth it.

“Pas facile à trouver mais bel endroit "très rustique" encore en travaux.”

The location is nice but hard to find, the surroundings are pleasant, yet the room had a tiny window overlooking the courtyard instead of the mountain view promised in the ad; the evening meal felt a bit Spartan on a narrow table on the terrace overlooking the village, and breakfast was hardly appealing.

We appreciated the warm welcome and the peacefulness of the natural setting, Aurélie treated us to a superb dinner and a very generous breakfast.

A small supplementary heater would be useful in the room or bathroom, since only a wood stove heats the whole place.
