The interior décor is exceptional in a place steeped in history. The breakfast room feels like a beautiful museum! The ficus alley and the pool are gorgeous. A very, very nice spot, all quiet, 15 minutes by car from Las Palmas city centre and Las Canteras beach. Watch out for the downhill parking; our car got stuck by a careless host blocking the way.

The location is gorgeous and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent, and the pool area and surrounding grounds are stunning. Unfortunately, I couldn't have dinner at the hotel.

The hotel sits in a beautiful spot, with plants and flowers everywhere; the poolside sofas are perfect for relaxing or reading. I couldn’t use the pool because the weather was bad, but it was well maintained and very clean. The lounge décor is a visual treat, and the breakfast tableware is lovely. The wooden doors and ceilings give the place a different city feel. I did miss a mini‑fridge in my room, and the breakfast selection lacked pastries.

The outdoor common areas are nice. I was assigned a room in an annex, and the breakfast buffet was very limited.
