A lovely place to stay close to the beach with large rooms and comfy beds. The only downside is that you have to walk a short distance to the high street or down to the beach.

The Ship Inn sits charmingly on the harbor, and the staff greeted us warmly. Both supper and breakfast were tasty, and the room was roomy and cozy. We’d love to come back.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Ship Inn in Elie. It’s the perfect base for exploring the East Neuk Coastal Path. With only six rooms, it has a lovely, intimate feel, and the staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the breakfast was excellent. The beautiful nearby beaches were an added bonus. We’d happily stay here again!

The room was fantastic, offering a lovely view of the beach, and the shower was great. Breakfast was nice. All good.

Breakfast and the bathroom were good, but the noise and the asking were bothersome.
