At first it seemed too good to be true, but the twice‑daily game drives were sensational, the staff were super helpful and never appeared tired, and the food, room cleanliness, and nightly turn‑down service were all excellent.

The vibe is relaxed and warm. It’s right in the middle of the reserve. The buffet food is simple but homemade and of good quality. The game drive is top. What we didn’t particularly like but worth noting: at night you can’t roam freely around the camp because it’s open and there’s a chance to see big‑five animals. A ranger escorts you back to your tent after dinner.

Fantastic gaming area, incredibly friendly staff, superb safari tents, and even the heated blankets were turned on for us when we returned from the game drive. Every detail was thought of; it was the most fun place we’ve ever slept. Thanks, Bee (and trainee Laval), for the amazing experience, and see you again! The dinner was a bit disappointing, but we only stayed one night, so it might have been an off night; lunch and breakfast were excellent.

We stayed 3 days in South African winter, with temperatures ranging from 6 °C to 20 °C, and the experience exceeded all expectations. We arrived around noon, dropped our bags at the accommodation, ate lunch and then headed straight to the first safari. The reserve is huge and from the first tour we started spotting a wide variety of animals and birds. Our guide, Juan, always took different routes, making each safari unique and increasing the chances of finding new species. The accommodation is excellent: spacious, comfortable and fully integrated with nature. It was common to see animals passing in front of the room, which made the experience even more special. We stayed at accommodation 15 and the Wi‑Fi didn’t work very well there. For some people that could be a negative, but for us it turned out to be a positive. It was a great chance to slow down, disconnect a bit from social media and spend more quality time together. When internet was needed, I could access it without problems in the dining areas. Speaking of food, it deserves special mention. The meals were excellent and it felt like we were always eating! We started with a quick coffee before the morning safari, took a break during the tour, then had a full breakfast, lunch, another break during the afternoon safari, and finally dinner. Everything was very well prepared and served. Over the 6 safaris, we spotted 4 of the Big Five, missing only the African buffalo. With the huge number of animals spread across the reserve, we understand that some encounters depend on a bit of luck. It was an unforgettable experience, with a very attentive team, great facilities, excellent food and incredible safaris. I recommend it without hesitation for anyone who wants a real safari experience in South Africa. I gained 2 kilos because I ate too much, haha.

The guides and the game drives were good. The food was decent but not particularly tasty.
