“Price-service ratio is not acceptable.”
The family‑run property in a quiet suburb of the city was friendly and offered easy access to the highway. The hotel, a family suite on the upper floor of a private residence, was in a completely private complex, so car access required opening the barrier—a detail that wasn’t mentioned beforehand. We were told the hotel would send us a message in the local language shortly before check‑in, which was quite unacceptable. We had to park in front of the barrier and enter the complex with another resident’s help. Breakfast was the weakest part of our 12‑day trip.
“Sans âme”
The owners showed no compassion for the exceptional nature of the cancellation, even after a Booking request; they only care about money. I will never book this bed‑and‑breakfast again.
“Lekker ontspannen”
The reception was friendly. It was nice to be close to the city centre. I slept wonderfully. There was a pool.

We had a plentiful breakfast in the morning with fresh bread, butter, and Danielle’s incredible jams. Although the property is on a hill, the centre of Chambery is just a four‑minute drive away. The mattress was the only downside; we’re used to an orthopedic one.
