The owner was very friendly and gave great information; the food was excellent, though the fondue menu looked awful and left me not very hungry, so I’ll come back in winter.

The location is ideal for walking the Haute Route, the facilities were decent even though the building feels a bit uneven, and the on‑site laundry was handy. It’s pricey for what’s offered, but the setting is gorgeous and there aren’t many alternatives nearby.
