This cute guesthouse has a perfect location, just over the road from a bus stop that takes you straight into town, a small high street a short walk away, and a local pub 300 yards from the house. The room was clean, neat, and tidy, with a comfortable bed and plenty of natural light to wake up to. The hosts were gracious and helpful. I’ll definitely stay again when I return to Bristol.

The place was very clean and very quiet, which I really needed that night after settling my daughter into Glenside as a first‑year university student. It had been a long, emotional day, so having a quiet spot to recharge overnight before saying goodbye to her today was exactly what we needed as a family. Thank you. No negatives at all. The only thing I should have checked was whether there was a hairdryer; if I’d done so I’d have brought my own. I ended up going to my daughter’s place and giving my hair a blast! Absolutely not a negative—let’s face it, half the guys are bald, so it’s not an issue for them! Maybe a thought to provide one, but I should have checked to be fair. 👍

When our car stalled on the way to Bristol, Colleen and Terry stepped in and made us feel right at home, going above and beyond to help us out. Their support was truly appreciated, and the experience was wonderful. No complaints.

The Rockleaze Guest house had everything I needed for a single night and more, and I’ll keep choosing it over competitors whenever I can. Even though it’s next to a main road, I slept eight hours before an early start the next morning without any disturbance. No problems with the guest house at all; it’s easy to find, park, access local facilities, and reach my next destination.
